Meachers Global Logistics (formerly Oast Agencies and Meachers Transport) is one of the UK's leading independent providers of logistics services. We operate from a 7.5-acre site close to the Port of Southampton as well as from strategically placed facilities in Derby. Our customer base in manufacturing, industry and commerce include many of Europe’s most successful companies. Within our total logistics package, we are able to provide distribution, warehousing, value added services and freight forwarding. In addition we are able to provide national distribution of palletised consignments throughout the UK.
As a major distribution company we have in excess of 300,000 sq. ft. of warehousing, enabling us to offer a comprehensive range of storage solutions at both our Southampton and Derby centres. These include fully computerised stock control, racked and un-racked storage, bonded wet and dry facilities and a pick and pack service. Our fleet is comprised of 75 motive units and 150 trailers. All vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest standards by our own on-site, fully equipped workshops.
