Grads make the grade for Smith & Williamson
Accountancy and financial services group Smith & Williamson has welcomed four graduates to its south coast office in Southampton.
Elaine Aplin, Andy Hunt, Tom Odell and John Park will spend three years training in readiness for their accountancy qualifying ACA exams.
Managing director Richard Green said: “Elaine, Andy, Tom and John are welcome additions to our team as we continue to raise the bar in the service we provide clients across the south.”
Elaine, 21, from Bitterne in Southampton, graduated from Exeter University, as did Tom, 22, who also lives in the city.
She was previously a student at Sholing Technology College and Itchen College.
Bournemouth’s Andy, 26, arrives from Oxford Brooke University and John Park, 23, came from the University of Southampton.
All four are working for the Assurance and Business Services department.
The south coast office of Smith & Williamson, based in Southampton, has 60 staff and hundreds of clients, having started up in the city nearly seven years ago.
