The Company
Since our official launch in January 2007, the work of Business Southampton has gone from strength to strength. With more and more City Champions on board, our numbers are increasing all the time with every Champion committed to supporting Business Southampton in it’s quest to make the Southampton City Region a better place in which to live, work, visit and study.
To date we have secured significant funding from SEEDA, via the Southampton Partnership, enabling us to ensure that the foundations on which to build are securely in place as we move towards our goal of becoming a self-sufficient organisation with the resources in place to meet the our key outcomes and objectives.
Many of our projects are now well under way including Sea City, Port City Futures Southampton, Cruise Partnership Southampton and Marketing Southampton. We also continue to provide support and assistance to local businesses through our extensive events programme, identifying business opportunities and providing a collective voice for lobbying, representation and advocacy.
